As Dan Mitchell kindly noted the other day, my instinctive response to political craziness is a mild corrective impulse rather than anger (e.g. Actually, old thing, the Founders were neither Christians nor very great believers in democracy.) But when your response to the presence of tens of thousands of terrified child refugees is Turn em back - because theyre brown and illegal, dont speak English and might one day vote Democrat - then I dont even want to know you. Theyre not an obscure proof that the President is somehow simultaneously incompetent and darkly cunning. Theyre little children, for all Love.
