As Earth Day approaches, I am inspired by all of the positive things that are happening! Many people are coming together to stand up for the environment and conserving our natural resources, yet we have many obstacles that threaten our sustainability and ecological balance! Energy policy still dominates the charge for over-development, so we need to push for more alternative sources of renewable energy like solar, wind, bio-mass and bio-diesel, as well as push more conservation in lighting, electronics and combustion engines. With the 7th Annual Everglades Awareness Benefit Concert, we are working to bring people together and provide information resources that help shift individuals and society towards a more sustainable culture. Plus with all of the great music, art and performances, it will be a good time for an important cause!
