As I always say today is here but tomorrow is not promised so today I was shown what life really means its a fight and a battle sometimes extremely hard. As I was driving down the road within a split second this little dog runs out in front of me not knowing what to do I look in my mirror and there he is with a broken leg bleeding from the mouth and just plain hurt. Between having two people stop and one awesome guy help me run and knock on doors to try to find the owner. No owner was found so after driving for 20 minutes to multiple different animal clinics this little guy named spark passes away on my lap. Without a microchip without a name he was nothing but I hurt sole. I can only imagine what the fear of the owners when they realize their dog is missing now I have to be the one to go knocking on doors to find the owner to tell them that little Sparky this Christmas has passed away. Keep in mind I left my dog outside when I left this afternoon, all afternoon I was wondering if my dog was ok. I come home and my dog is no longer in the backyard where I left her nowhere to be found I start looking in the neighborhood and I start to get paranoid and scared, she doesnt have a tag on her or microchip. I began to break down and I go inside to splash water on my face and there she is looking at me wagging her tail. Diva found the door and did what it took to get inside because she knew that the other side of the door is where she would feel comfortable. I am thankful that today I got to experience this and life is a blessing and those that are part of your life is a gift from God. May you all have a happy and healthy Christmas.
