As I arise to face another day, I thank You O Allah - in gratitude I pray. These eyes You have gifted me with to see and admire, let them be used in appreciation of Your Empire. These ears by which my world becomes a flute. Imagine if I were from those who were mute? These hands that toil, touch and explore. Palms outstretched, beseeching You for more, Let them be hands that spell the mark of time. The fine lines showing generosity to mankind. These legs that traverse the expanse of the earth, Let them be guided to places of worth. This mind that beholds the miracle of Your Creation, Let is be used to seek knowledge that brings fruition. This blood that runs deep through every fibre of my being, Let it be infused with Love for Your Deen. These abilities and talents are a niimah from You, Let me not abuse the rights they are due. I praise and thank You O Allah for all and more. Forever seeking at Your open door.... Let me be from amongst Your favoured ones; Today, Tomorrow, Forever in Your Mercy ensconced... O Allah, make our future better than our past, our graves better than our houses, our deaths better than our life, and make Al-Jannatul-firdaus our final abode... Ameen!
