As I begin to climb the base of this celestial mountain that brings wonder to my heart, I look through the trees to see the top of my destination, I begin to question if what I am climbing is really worth embarking. Despite my curiosity and lack of resolve that are combatting against each other, I continue on in the trek. I reach halfway up and I see a glimpse of the valley down below and I realize that this journey has been long and hard, the sights are pure and lovely, full of fragrance and beauty. But the sweat upon my brow tells me that I am still far from there. The rocks are growing steeper, my strength is growing thin, but a voice from within cries out, "stay the course." Three steps, two and one step remain, now I am there. The feeling of being at the top knowing that I have arrived takes away my breath and gives me comfort, because now I am home.
