As I close my eyes briefly my eyes fill with tears, As he speaks about the words that fill his heart, U always hurt me, please leave me alone, So with tears blinding her eyes, the soul feels drained of warmth, & she makes the promise to him, I not disturb u more. Then she takes one last look at him, & remembers his face on her soul, & says so bravely one more time, ur wish I give now to u, & promises to leave him alone, as his wish was asked, But thru tears that blind the eyes, the pain that blinds the soul, & the pain that grows deep in her heart, she knows no pain like this before. She opens her eyes, & remembers love, brief though it was, it held her like magic, spun forever around her & then she goes to sleep, & dreams of nothing more. (C) Stormy Windy Shores
