As I confidently approach another milestone, another decade, I reflect on life & on the person I have become. My heart & my intuition reveal certain truths to me. Bless them for always responding to my endless queries. Fortunately, when I listen now, it is less bothersome noise & more substance. Most notable, I am worthy. Ok, maybe not such a big awakening right? Except for me, it is. The insecurities of my youth have evolved; that psychological need to seek approval, love & respect from others in order to feel worthy is dissipating~ thankfully. I now accept that I deserve to be loved & respected by others simply & genuinely. I recognize my worth in the multitude of many. I am proud that I have reliably navigated the journey of life with these values at the helm. My focus, because I really do always have one, is to ensure that others (especially those I am responsible for) appreciate the same; they are worthy of approval, of love & of respect. After all, we all emerge into this life worthy and the day this is discovered IS the day you are holistically granted just that. From then on, this reality welcomes unprecedented dividends for oneself & for others. A win- win scenario for a happy life.
