As I continue looking for Gods direction in our calling to Papua New Guinea, I have been studying the life of the founder of Wycliffe Bible Translators, William Uncle Cam Townsend. Mr. Townsends life ,of course, revealed that he didnt live a formula life.What his life did reveal was that he knew God in an intimate way and that he lived and acted upon the principle,If God has called you, God will see you through, no matter what the odds are to the contrary. If God said it, that settled it; there was no debate, and he looked to God to supply the resources, wisdom and skill to complete the task.
