As I drive to work daily I always find solace in the winding - TopicsExpress

As I drive to work daily I always find solace in the winding roads, the birds overhead, and the trees swaying back and forth from the morning breeze. This morning however it was different. As I approached one of my most beloved bayous I noticed a crispy donut sign and retail outlet sign across the street from these beautiful waters. I was sadden by the fact that humans are tearing down yet more trees and habits for animals for a donut shop! There is an epidemic of obesity in America and a large percentage of Americans are in debt because of retail stores. Do we really need 20 donut shops in this area??? Do we need to purchase more items outsourced from other countries??? If consumers need this why not reclaim an existing building that needs a little tlc?? Leave the trees, the native grasses, waterways, and habitats as they should be!!
