As I entered data tonight into my Family Tree Maker regarding Mary Elizabeth Smith Eberts - I found this article I had found at the McArthur Library - it made me think of warm summer days and how I wish we could have reunions like these more! SOURCE: Vinton County Newspaper McArthur Democrat Enquirer September 23, 1925 REUNION The annual reunion of the Eberts descendents consisting of the Ward, Warner, Newman and Eberts families was held in Trimmers Grove, Dundas, O., on September 6th. The weather was ideal and a large crowd of two hundred and seventeen gathered to enjoy the day. A bountiful and beautiful dinner was served; also ice cream in the afternoon. All departed late in the afternoon with many thanks to Mr Trimmer for the use of his grove and to be present next year.
