As I get ready to head to the church to begin the wall dismantling, I think of the several projects we have accomplished over the past three years. I realize I belong to a generation that seeks to see the results of our labors. We want to be productive and see with our own eyes what we have made. But that is not the way of Gods Kingdom. Often our witness for God does not lead to results that we can measure. I wish that we could see the fruits of all labors, but its just a fact of the life we live. As faithful witnesses of Christ we have to trust that our lives will be successful, even though we cannot see these accomplishments The fruit of our lives may be visible only to those who live after us. What is important is how well we love. God will make our love fruitful, whether we see that fruitfulness or not.
