As I had my quiet time with the Lord this morning I felt led to post a prayer for all my family, friends and faithful readers of this page. To that end I offer this prayer for you. Dear Father God in heaven, I praise you for your creation and your son Jesus. I am blessed by knowing that Jesus is Lord and that we all can find grace and peace through him. I lift up my family, friends and followers of this blog and ask a blessing in their lives. Each one no doubt has special needs and I pray you will hear their petitions and answer them according to your will for their lives. Forgive us our sins Father and create within us a clean heart. May we all repent of our sins and praise you for our forgiveness through Jesus Christ who died on the cross for us. Thank you Jesus for giving us the Holy Spirit to live within us, and who guides us and strengthens us daily. Lord help us to resist temptation. If we should fall, I pray you will stay true to your word and provide us a way out. I know you’ve been tempted in all areas and that is why you understand us so well. I pray the Holy Spirit will control our minds and keep us from bringing in anything that is displeasing to you Father. Father God in these economic times of uncertainty and with so many people out of work let us always remember that you, Almighty God, are still in control of all things. Nothing is impossible for you Father and you give us hope with your word that says, “I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.” Although we’ve tried to eliminate every vestige of your being here on earth I pray you will forgive us and heal our nation. I pray we will be blessed economically and in all other areas where mankind is hurting. Father let us always remember you are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. You are the creator of all things and I pray with that power you will find it in your heart to forgive our nation and bring us back on the right path. For each family member, friend or follower of this page I ask for a special blessing of abundance, forgiveness, grace, mercy and peace be established in their lives. We are nothing without you Father and with you we can do all that you’ve established for us to do. Help us Father to run the race you’ve set before us and always keep our eyes on the goal of an eternal relationship with your son Jesus Christ. You are our rock, our tower, our fortress against the enemy. Help us to stand and not faint. And give us this day, our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the glory forever and ever...AMEN!!! ~Cristina~
