As I have a brief moment of nostalgia over the last 11 months that I have been within United Council & decided to dedicate my life to this "Save the World/Anti-Oppression" game I want to thank everyone who have helped me get to this point rather it be friends, mentors, & ancestors who laid the ground work for me today. But I especially like to thank those who did not expect/or want me to get this point as well, & in no shape or form want me to succeed. As the school year kicks off today I am ecstatic at the opportunity that I am presented with too represent the students in all the UW System schools. And as the preseason has ended, & it is now tip-off for the first quarter of this year I am more than confident to say this will be the most historic & life changing year within the UW System, UW Campuses, & state of Wisconsin. I am truly blessed to be able to do the work I am so passionate about, & even more excited not to just work with my fellow peers, but build everlasting relationships with them as we work holistically together to make concrete changes in the lives of students, but also in the state of Wisconsin......
