As I hear these Christmas songs playing on the radio and in my neighbourhood, it sounds really cool and brings the pleasant memories of the season. Enjoying the melody, it crossed my mind that there are certain things relevant to the time whilst others are relevant to the season. For instance, imagine playing a Christmas song on 1st October in a Nigeria celebration party. The song would loose its relevance, not because the song is not melodious but because the season is not supportive. The truth is sometimes we struggle with stuff, not because the stuff is bad, but because the time is not supportive. Observe that no matter how bright the light of your torch is, it becomes valueless in the light of the day. Point: Find what works in a place and the season it works and both the place and season would aid your work work. Remember it would always prove difficult to sell ice blocks to the eskimos but in the tropics it sells freely. So, find where your value is appreciated, then express your value and you would be celebrated. Good morning. Sorgwe Ernest (D man in charge) Twitter: @sorgwee1 inmindclinic.blogspot
