As I lay here during the "snooze" portion of my day I try to focus my mind on the things that matter while giving perspective to my daily work responsibilities. It is very easy to become engulfed in the stress that comes during the busy season. It is a conscious effort on my part to separate the emotion of the job from the promise of salvation which, unlike my paycheck, is my ultimate goal today. I John 2:15-17 NKJV "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
