As I lay my head down tonight I cannot help but reflect on my 36 trips around this sun. My life has been blessed. Even when it was not seemingly fair, it has been blessed. Life is a vapor the Bible says. I know that is true. I am determined in my heart to leave it all on the field though. I have a wonderful church, wonderful family - which is rooted with a wife who loves me despite my faults. Lindsey Hester Gurley you are the answer to my prayers! I have two beautiful baby girls who are the joy of my life. They have taught me both a whole new level of love as well as been used to help my faith increase tremendously! Sadie and Lucy of all my proud moments - there are none that top being your Daddy. In the time the Lord lets me live on this old earth I hope to make you proud. Sometimes I wonder why you said yes my Lindsey (Sam) - I am so glad you did! I love you real big! I am able to do something each day that is such an honor and I feel so unworthy. As Christians we are all to be used in spreading the Gospel. As a pastor I am so blessed to lead an incredible team of world changers, serve a church that wants to see Jesus made famous, and enjoy friendships that literally criss cross the globe. I pray I have many more years to do what God has called me too - I have a lot more to give! Thanks to everyone for your kind words today. Many of you I do not talk to regularly, or maybe have not talked to in years. Please know I count it a privilege to have so many friends. I really am the luckiest guy I know.
