As I listen again to the warm up I remember in around 2009/2010 at some point I didnt wanna do rap no more Didnt want to do music Very young but I just wanted not to venture into music anymore maybe just sit back and be a critic or something. Then Lemmy Bilari mentioned to me about jcole and gave me the warm up among other mixtapes ,jon connors music etc And despite being a great fan of black thought ,(the roots in general), common, mos def masta ace, talib (those five in particular) I finally found a mentor in 2009. Anyone who knows me since or has followed my posts from way back, knows Ive been going on about JCole ever since and Im really not about any hype of albums doing well or whatever, when worst comes to worst I believe ill still be only one waiting on his next project. He is a legend, inspiration,a hero to say the least and someone I really look up to, and hope to become when I grow up😊. When I read that his song love yourz saved a life, I had a tear for that. I was like thats exactly what he did and does to me musically, saving my ass from really caring much about what people think , put it out!! show the world why you started in the first place
