As I look at the condition of world lately with a broken heart, these loving wise and counter-culture words of our Lord Jesus echo in my heart to fill me with hope, love and forgiveness. We are in this world but we do not belong to it. Our real home is Heaven. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice, and be glad, for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Matt 5:9-12 You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. Matt. 5:43-44 Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Luke 23:24 Cuando miro a la condición del mundo últimamente con el corazón roto, estos amorosas, sabias y contracultura palabras de nuestro Señor Jesús, resuenan en mi corazón y me llenen de esperanza, amor y perdón. Estamos en este mundo, pero no pertenecemos a él. Nuestro verdadero hogar es el cielo. Bienaventurados los que procuran la paz, pues ellos serán llamados hijos de Dios.
