As I look forward to the weekend, I ask that we remember those who are going through tough times. We often think all is well till we see or hear differently. I have some friends that are going through some things right now that I ask prayers for. Some are health issues, some are going through grief and I have some that are looking toward new beginnings, all could use some prayers. God hears our silent prayers as well as the ones we ask for out loud. He hears the gentle calls of our hearts and the times we cry out for help. He listens as we pray for others and calms our hearts when we ask for our own. God rejoices when we are not only looking out for ourselves but for those who have touched our hearts. You see God has called us to love one another, he asks us to treat others as we would like to be, he commissions us to be fisher of men and each time he finds us in prayer for others than he knows that we are following our hearts by placing others before ourselves. So as I ask for prayers of healing for a couple families, a prayer for a family that is grieving a loss of a loved one, I also ask for prayers of celebration as a beautiful couple prepare to join as one. I know that many of you have become great prayer warriors on here for people you dont even know and I also know that because of your wonderful prayers others have been touched. I believe in my heart that God hears and sees each of you and the time you spend praying for those people. So today and always may you feel the blessing of God upon your hearts as you reach out in prayer for all those you prayer for and about.
