As I looking over all the gorgeous family sessions we have taken lately I was thinking about all the families that keep putting off their session. So I came up with the top 5 reasons people wait to take family pictures! 1. I need to lose an extra 10 pounds before I book the session! 2. I dont know how to put the right outfits together! 3. My husband and/or kids hate having pictures done! 4. I dont know where the best location is for our pictures. 5. There is never a good time because our schedules are so busy! I hear this every year...then the next year from the same people plus new people.... But here is the naked truth and answers to those excuses!... 1. Forget the 10 pounds...just be confident with yourself! A good photographer will know how to compose the image in the most flattering manner. If you are waiting for perfection then you will grow old and your kids will move out and you will never have pictures of them...just saying :). 2. Outfits? Thats what the photographer is for. Once your kids are married you will delay the family pictures until each kid gets married and all of them have kids...then you are waiting on the great grandchildren.
