As I lowered my flag to half-staff this morning, I couldnt help - TopicsExpress

As I lowered my flag to half-staff this morning, I couldnt help but drop a tear. Not many people other than my wife know this, but just weeks after the attack on our soil occurred and the war had begun, I was in attempts to re-enlist and working with a unit commander who needed my MOS. Much to my wifes joy, the doctor would not provide me with a medical waiver and I was unable to join the battlefield to help destroy the savages that put a hole in all of our hearts. Today we do not just remember the loss of the lives lost that day, we all carry part of the burden with us from that day to today as we were all victims. We remember and mourn for the families of those who lost their lives that day, and in the years since that the men and women who bravely entered the battlefield to eradicate those savages that also lost their lives and their families. No matter who knew what or whatever conspiracy theories may exist regarding anything that happened, one fact that will forever remain is, Youre the Emblem of The Land I Love. The Home of the Free and the Brave.
