As I met these servants of God here in Honduras, one thing was an obvious common denominator; no one considers it a sacrifice, but earnestly a privilege to serve. Hmmm, me thinkth there just might be a lesson to pause and reflect on there.... Sorry to leave this place where people want to hear the Word of God and meet together as much as possible – where on Sunday “nights” there is standing room only with 2 hours of singing, the reading of Scripture, praying for one another and preaching – where families come and worship together. And guess what, there’s nursing babies, “no air-condition, no padded pews and yet no one wants to leave. ”Oh by the way” they continue fellowshipping afterwards. Witnessing this brought tears to this old preachers eyes and a desire to be a small part of it... I am truly sorry to leave this place today and I will be praying to return one day if the Lord tarries. The saints in Honduras truly typify (Acts 2:42) “And they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Just Thinking Out Loud – In Christ Alone bro fred – sola scriptura
