As I navigated a doctors visit and a pharmacy with my 89-year-old - TopicsExpress

As I navigated a doctors visit and a pharmacy with my 89-year-old stalwart flower of a mom today, I was struck by the kindness of people. For all the gravity of cads and divas of the world, trying to catch us in their undertow, the majority of the human race sails on a Gulf Stream of love. A warmth on this chill day and night. Im reminded, and so is my mom, theres no such thing as a small act of love. A young woman at an iHOP, for example, putting herself out in the cold so she could hold the door as my mom struggled on her feet. What treasure of this mortal life. What hope we find in this. And in her, and so many more who are kind, we find the very best of ourselves. May a small act of love become a grand force in your life. May it carry you. And may you shoulder and carry another with the same.
