As I prepare to attend a meeting tomorrow on Defining Private/Public social Responsibility on the Prevention of Crime and Violence in Belize, and as I read through so many materials available, My question is: Whos representing BELIZE at the First Global Forum on Youth Policies in Baku on October 28 - 20, 2014? 2. What difference is the YOUTH POLICY of Belize making in the lives of Young People? 3. Who are the KEY players involve in making sure that YOUNG PEOPLE matters and are not only SEEN but are HEARD? No matter how many meetings are held, if we dont recognize the REALITY of whats steering at all of us, well just keep spending money on snacks and lunch, get people EXCITED about change, then we NEVER hear from those who made a commitment to bring about some change again. YOUNG PEOPLE, ALL OF THEM, DESERVE people in positions whom are prepared to go ALL OUT for them, people who make it their business to FIND OUT, what exactly is preventing them from aspiring for greatness. I suggest creating a committee that goes ALL OUT to find out EVERYTHING about EMPLOYMENT where our YOUTHS are concern. Whos employed n whos not, whos had jobs why did they loose their jobs, what is it that demotivates our youths within the workplace, what jobs are available that our youths can tap into. Youd be surprise what u come up with and trust me its a great place to start in order to solve the issue of UNEMPLOYMENT.
