As I read the history reflects that we are progressively accepting a homologous equality for all of mankind. I feel that the anthropology is showing us that as we diverged from large culture groups to a more modern connected type of culture we are making the unfair exceptions of each group dissolve into a more pure way of life for all together. After reading the slavery and womens movement I reflect on slavery and see the womens movement is similar in the fight for equality though not anywhere near as violent. It would seem like women have over 100 years less time involved in the fight but have made a huge advance on the equality issues in comparison, I might add that these advances may be what makes the changes accepted with more validation now versus the past in issues such as slavery. It seem as though the fast change of womens rights at least to is adding positive motivation to the past efforts as we progress. On a wider perspective the Idea of caste and class seems to be fairly similar. For definition of class and cast, both are horrible limitations no matter what we decide. In comparison both are a social issue that still has its hold on society and unfortunately is working its way out through whole changes of government for countries.(very slowly) Its going to take a very long time at this rate, but change does usually come suddenly. With globalization where it is today these boundaries are falling ever faster so look inside and find yourself in a better tomorrow from where you are now and where we have come from. I am happy to not be limited to a caste system and look forward to the opportunity to advance society as a better place for everyone including myself so I do look for whats correct inside and good for humanity. Making the transition is a dangerous one and its areas like social sciences that make these issues addressable to ourselves and the sciences are helping. Remember most major movements throughout history end in murder to the individuals involved so we are lucky to have come to a point where we use social sciences like anthropology to work with the issue. The sciences allow us to look at the issues without changing them and to find the answers we all find as correct together without much of violence seen in the past.
