As I reflect on 2014 and look forward to the new year, I have to count my blessings. I have a good life, blessed with a great family and many friends - old and new. I have a strong business with the best customers a guy could ask for and employees who are committed to giving you a good experience here. Weve been in business since June 1, 2012. Two and half years later, our business continues to grow, with 2014 being our strongest year yet. In the restaurant business, sales oftentimes slow as time passes. We are fortunate that ours continue to increase. In time, our food and beverage options have continued to expand and improve. Our menu options today, I believe, are the best since opening. In our bakery, weve improved our pies to where they have their own crazy following and customers tell us over and over again that theyve never had a pie as good as our Salted Caramel Apple. Weve added three fruit and cream cheese danish to our breakfast baked goods with a pastry crust that melts in your mouth. Our coffee and tea line-up has also expanded. Weve added many new drink options from our espresso bar, including our staff recommended Cortado - the perfect mix of 2 shots of espresso and 2 ounces of steamed milk. We also have a variety of 15 of the finest hot teas available. From the kitchen, Chef Jesse and his team work hard each day to serve up fine quality foods with every item possible made from scratch. Jesses soups are outstanding in their quality and flavor. Our sauces and spreads are designed to our own internal recipes. We dont just open a jar from one of the big suppliers. On the healthy and alternative eating side, we offer great healthy salads that are low in calorie with protein options in a grilled chicken breast and salmon filet. We offer many vegetarian options and many gluten free alternatives - both for breakfast and lunch. And, Im proud that we always offer fresh fruit as an option. We also offer eight of the most unique pizzas in the area. Our Fig Jam, Prosciutto and Goat Cheese Pizza has been a customer favorite since we opened. The Steak, Arugula and Gouda Pizza is new and my personal favorite is the Caramelized Pear, Bacon and Blue Cheese Pizza. If you havent yet given Josiahs a try - or if you havent been here lately, come on by. We are serving up the good stuff from 6:30 am to 5 pm each day, and Sundays from 8 am to 2 pm.
