As I reflect on my Army Days each year on Veterans Day I am so thankful for all the Americans I served with (1969-1971). Some that served in Vietnam gave all and for that I have no words that could adequately express my appreciation for their sacrifice for their country. I stand proud of to be an American, I stand proud to be a Veteran and to me it’s all about God and Country. But, here I am 43 years later and you know, I am so proud of those who continue to answer the call to protect and if need be to die for my freedom and yours, I’m forever grateful. Fb friends, however, I am honored to introduce to you (via video) U.S. Senator Elect from the state of Iowa, Lt. Col. Joni Ernst. A true servant, a true patriot. I introduce to you one of many fine examples of a great American.
