As I reflect on this past year I have feelings that overflow regarding my efforts within our Common Core movement. First and foremost exhaustion-I have been sleep deprived. I cant go a day without thinking about this educational madness. Pride- as I take this job quite serious the outcome determines my childrens future. Surprised-as I never was interested in Politics but was forced to embrace it in order to educate myself further. Accomplished-CC is now the #1 voting issue didnt happen by accident. Appreciated- so many wonderful people are grateful for my efforts. Determined- to continue to educate others about the serious dangers with CCSS. Confident- as I will convince more people that Astorino is our saving grace. Hopeful- that in Nov. Cuomo will be voted out. I know that my post will make some of you roll your eyes saying enough with this CC. Unfriend me if my passion drives you up A wall. Thats OK by me at least I didnt sit back and pretend our educational system is in good shape. I Know its NOT I have done my homework. I have no regrets for the precious time I have lost. Its my job to protect my children they need my voice...
