As I see many of my people (really good people) tell their year end stories and resolutions for the new year 2015, heres mine: I was unemployed from the first month of the year until August. My funds ran out around March and I was scrabbling to make ends meet. I dont know if youre familiar with old expressions derived from the new testament, but I was robbing Peter to pay Paul. Fortunately, Peter had some deep pockets and didnt feel so robbed. I truly benefitted (and still benefit) from a great team of people that have my back. I am pretty sure (very sure) that I have done the same for them at some point or another. Then you have the people that you thought you could depend on, but didnt come through. Those are the ones I keep in my prayers and have confidence that all will be well in the end. Then you have the spirit breakers... Those are the tricky bunch. I am a good Christian boy raised in the church and cherish my relationship with my Lord and Savior. But I find it hard to pray for tricky because I know all of that will be taken care of by the aforementioned Lord and Savior (I just let go and let God). As I work hard five days a week; as I do my best as a man to regain a lot of what Ive lost. As I raise my Mark and Michael to be the very best they can be - I do it all with the weight of the world on my shoulders knowing it wont break my back. 2015 will be a triumphed year and I know this for sure. A winner never quits and a quitter never wins. Keep mine in your thoughts as I keep yours in mine. Pray that wrong willed people will see the light. Pray that compassion overcomes ill will.
