As I sit at my desk covered up, God put in my spirit to pray for Marriages. I have three close friends that are thinking about or filed for divorce. Marriage is a commitment to God first and to your spouse. Now days people dont take their vows seriously as they should. I can honestly say that I have went through a divorce at a young age, because I did not wait for God to send me who he called for me. David Landes is who God designed for me. WOMEN THE BIBLE SAYS A MAN WILL SEEK HIS WIFE, ( Proverb: 18:22 - He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the LORD) so that means stop picking men. It was not designed for you to pick your husband and that is why we end up in a relationship or marriage that has us unhappy and frustrated. I understand that no one wants to be alone, including ME but sometimes it is best. God sends your husband in his time not when we want him too. THAT IS THE HARD PART!!!! I pray for all of the marriages in the world. I tell young people all the time, that marriage is hard and to not get caught up in the wedding and the dress because that is not MARRIAGE, that is an EVENT. David and I have went through 6 miscarriages, 6 major deaths and David about dying on me last year. All of that was in just 11 years of marriage and that doesnt include financial problems, or everyday things. If our marriage wasnt what God designed, I would have lost my mind and he would have been a dead man. I prayed my husband through that storm last year. I appreciate all that the doctors, nurses, and staff did but PRAYER GOT HIM THROUGH. I tell everybody that you need to pray for your spouse daily because he is the head of the household and the devil is there to destroy him.
