As I sit her tonight working on files, all I can think about is tomorrow and what that day will mean to me. Tomorrow is my wedding anniversary - 11 YEARS with the best man on the PLANET. Last year was our 10 year anniversary and David was on life support with no hope from the doctors that he was going to make it. I decorated his room with posters from the kids, balloons, stuffed animals and loving pictures of his family that was praying him through this journey OF ILLNESS. I decorated the room so if he would open his eyes for a second he would know that I was right there with him. As I was waiting for him to come back from another procedure being done on is stomach, I mopped his floor with the cleaning supplies that I use at home. I was hoping that he could at least smell something that he would remember during happier times at home. My boss Steve Fogarty came in to just let me know that this was our big day and he gave me 2 dozen roses that David would normally be giving to me. I had never seen Steve not know what to say, but he came just as man coming to lend a shoulder to cry on. When he left all I could do is give God praise for bringing this GOOD MAN in my life for me to have as mentor, friend and business partner that truly cares about the Landes Family. The visitation was only 30 minutes at a time but the nurse let me stay longer with my husband because this was our big day. When the day was over, all I could think about is what tomorrow will bring me. I knew that I had to pray my husband through to see another anniversary with him and many more in the future. I had two buyers call me today and ask if I would show them property tomorrow. I said NO! TOMORROW IS OUR BIG DAY THAT GOD HAS GRANTED TO US. I will not be working tomorrow for anybody because it will be the day to celebrate LIFE, LOVE, COMMITMENT, BEST FRIENDS AND THE MIRACLE THAT GOD GAVE ME. My husband is my best friend and we can talk to each other about anything, we hold no secrets from each other, we love deeply for one another and last but not least we RESPECT each other in a mighty way. People ask me all the time how to keep a good marriage and I say respect your husband, put him first outside of GOD, let him be the man of the house, love him as God would have you to, be honest and trust worthy. My husband gets a home cooked meal 5-6 nights a week, I always fix his plate and bring it to him and make sure that his house is clean at all times. I try to be the best mommy to our kids so that he will be happy to say that he has a working wife with a career but our kids dont lack. THAT IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT IN LIFE! So to the man of my dreams - Happy 11TH Anniversary and I know that we will have many, many, more. I LOVE YOU DAVID SCOTT LANDES
