As I sit here and look at this little dog that is nothing but skin and bones...waiting for it to warm up just a little more in the house so I can bathe her...I know...I know part of what is in store for us. I love her already of course...but I have seen too many of those like her...and I cannot things will be easy. The chance that she is HW positive is extremely HIGH....not to mention that I am betting she will have at least one tick borne disease, which also mean that I probably got another good dose of a tick borne disease since she and I shared some ticks....I dont even know at this point if I will get to keep her....I think about the other 3 at the holding facility and my heart breaks for them as well....thankfully they let me bring her home and care for her since she is in bad condition....I dont understand how someone can claim they care about or even love something and keep it a prisoner as she was kept...we do not keep human criminals like they were kept...
