As I sit here and read all these post I am saddened by the loss of someone special to me. We was on this journey together, shared a special bond only Cancer Warriors will understand. Gertrude Jackson fought a fierce battle and even though she lost the battle she won the glory. Its ok to be sad but take time to realize the strength she had to tap into to make it day to day for herself and her son. I say this because many of us believe we are not strong and I want you to know you are as strong as you ALLOW yourself to become. You are the only one preventing YOU from being strong. Never give anyone or anything the power to take control of your inner strength. And NO its not an easy task. But good things never are anyway. I never wanted to complete a Breast Cancer walk (personal choice) until losing someone who was on this journey with me and I welcome anyone who wants to come with me. Fly baby girl you are free of this world and GOD will make sure your little man is in good hands and your family and friends remember your smile and spirit. I love you chic!
