As I sit here and reflect on all the activities we did this past weekend and all the love and support we received the tears begin to fall. Not sad tears, but joyful tears. Capes4Heroes has so many amazing fans and our support system is growing rapidly. With each new fan, a child is caped...a smile falls upon not only the deserving child but the family as well. Children all over the world are receiving our superhero capes. Capes made with so much love and dedication. Sherry Hook, our head seamstress has been managing the Superhero seamstress crew for quite some time. Terry Franceschi and her amazing family for always being there when you called or needed. Jerry Hook for being an amazing supporter and doing whatever it is we need. Linda Volker and Jenny Peters for rocking all the Taylor Family Foundation events, Jerry Hunter for working her tail off 24 hours a day embroidering! And a huge thank you to Lisa Birse, Jean Reiyns, Claudette Kolb, Marybeth Turner, Laurel Portman, Kirsten, Nancy and Jack Worthington, Kay Giammario all the way in Texas, Judith Cowie in North Carolina, Ingrid French and the amazing clipped wings crew, Libby Canova, Mary Louise, Patty Pray, Vicky Kean, Sharon Koshak, Betsy Sings have all have put countless hours into making all the superhero capes the children are wearing. Also a big thank you to the families and friends that come and help at events as well as in the office including NCL groups from both Walnut Creek as well as Danville. A huge Superhero hug goes out to our sponsor Jiffy Lube of Greater Sacramento for helping to expand our reach to empower many more children. Thank you Sacramento Republic FC as well as Rangers FC for opening your arms to not only our organization but to all our superheroes. To all you new fans...WELCOME!
