As I sit here and reflect upon the past few days, I think I can honestly say I have run pretty much the entire gamut of feelings. Fear and anxiety played a huge role the first few days. Depression snuck in for a while. Calm/relaxed/happy face been here as well. I think the most prevalent emotion had been that of gratitude that Tommy was able to get medical treatment rapidly and thusly prevent what could have been disastrous. We dodged a huge bullet!! So grateful for the knowledgeable/trained staff at Childrens and Froedtert Hospitals! Never we we left to wonder what was going on. . They always keep us advised. My utmost thanks and praise to God above for allowing Tommy to be in the condition he is vs. what could have been! Thank you to our family and friends for the love and support shown this week! I have laughed, cried, and been deeply moved!
