As I sit here, still suffering from near fatal heart attack and football hangover, I have such a sense of pride and admiration for our team. They have been going out every week leaving it all on the field since youth football. I remember an all-star game in Rockport in which several of the players today played in. The Rockport/Sinton team had scored with a minute left, but instead of hanging their heads, our boys strapped up their helmets and scored to win the game. I witnessed those same boys do that yesterday as young men. After that missed 4th down with 4:55 left, there were no heads hanging. There were those boys strapping their helmets and saying lets do this. As parents of these young men, we knew they were destine to be special. Now everyone else is getting to see it. Cedar Park is history. Lets get all of our attention to Alamo Heights, the next step to the boys destiny. Im so proud of these guys.
