As I sit here thinking about how I am going to wrap up this year in a social media post for all of my family, friends, clients and customers to see, all I can think about it how many absolutely amazing opportunities were offered to me in #2014. There were many new things in 2014. Personally, the highlight of my year would have had to be the #Baylor in Madrid #studyabroad trip that I had the opportunity to go on. I learned so much about a different culture, while at the same time learning so much about myself. I still keep up with my #Spain family and the #friends that I made on that trip. Those memories are priceless. Professionally, I have been fortunate to gain clients in the the #realestate, #marketing and #consulting spheres. Just a recap from the last couple of months of 2014 (Q4OF14). - In October, I was fortunate to gain a client looking for a specific type of property. Nothing was available on or off market, so in December we secured a lot to build. In 24-hours we negotiated the lot and went from contract to close in 4 days. (We saved that particular client $70,000 on the lot.) @harrellgroup and I will be facilitating the build of this property which should be complete by June 2015. Who knows, maybe there is a future for development..? #HARRELLdevelopment - In November, I helped facilitate HARRELL Realty Management Systems, Inc. to obtain the #management and #leasing account for #CameronHeightsWaco. If you dont know about this project, check it out - (cameronheightswaco) - these brand new town home type properties are insanely nice! #shamelessplug - In December, Kannon Callis and I formed Texas Omega Realty (A boutique full-service real estate firm in Dallas, Texas.) That business will be taking off in Q1 of 2015. - In December, @harrellgroup and @txomegarealty took over the management and leasing of #GeorgetownIsles, which is an #executive #allinclusive #office #suites building in #Dallas. (work-relax) - In December, I assisted with the facilitation of obtaining the management, leasing and marketing of Brazos Urban Storage, LLC, which is a #Downtown #Waco #ClimateControlled #Storage #Facility. We will start 2015 off strong with leasing and managing this project with assistance from @harrellgroup and #HSQRD - Finally, I was able to facilitate #sales totaling over $1MIL in the residential and commercial markets in 2014 - while attending @bayloruniversity as a full-time student. I am fortunate that I have the opportunity to continue to wake up every morning with a smile on my face and the ability to serve and assist these clients - whether it is maximizing their return on their real estate portfolio(s) and investment(s), helping manage their real estate portfolios, rebranding businesses, or consulting in the public relations and perception field - every day is new and different. #blessed What was Wayne Gretzkys quote?
