As I sit here tonight watching the effects of this disease and chemo, I think about my dear mother and father. When I fought my own battle, I never thought of putting myself in moms shoes. It was too painful. I had to fight and couldnt let those thoughts drag me down. Tonight, sitting with Bryanna, I realized that now I cant put myself in her shoes. You see, my mother that sat here tonight with her heart about to explode with pain, is the same mother that was there for me. The one that loved me unconditionally, fed me, clothed me and gave completely of herself, is now doing the same for my daughter. We all have our idea of a hero. Mom may not have served in a branch of the US military, but shes a soldier non the less. You see she is a warrior. One that serves, protects and never gives up. Mom can only draw her strength from God. She is so amazing. Please lift up my parents. I just want them to be able to live peacefully and happy. Theyve taken care of others and I want them healthy to enjoy this beautiful thing called life. Bryanna and I are so blessed to have Nana and Papa, many dont. They arent the rocks of this family, but the diamonds. They have been pressed and pressed so much in their lives that now God is polishing them. No diamonds in the rough, but brilliant stones set in precious gold. I love you mom and dad. 💜We are blessed
