As I sit here trying to wrap my mind around my Momma being gone, I - TopicsExpress

As I sit here trying to wrap my mind around my Momma being gone, I scroll down and see almost 200 different friends, family members, and even my own physician in Cleveland who never even knew her, leaving comments and prayers. I find myself thinking, what a remarkable woman she was, to have touched so many lives. My momma grew up in a small mining camp in Jamestown TN. She was the oldest of five children, and during the Great Depression managed to survive and walked miles, not blocks to finish elementary school. She told as a child sitting under a peach tree, and watched as the sky filled with hundreds of planes and thinking the world was ending. It was actually the bombers returning after the the end if WW2. My mother worked her entire life raising three girls, and yes including me, so that in itself shows her strength. But even this beautiful, strong, loving and sweet woman could not win the battle against breast cancer. But God had seen her labors throughout these 81 yrs of her life and said I will wrap my arms around you and ease your pain so you can rest a while on Earth and let you see all the good you have done. I will let you see your children, grandchildren and even your great grandchildren, before I take you home. I will let your be remembered for your love, your hard work, your kindness to others and especially for your faith in me.. Your Lord. I am so thankful when someone says youre just like your mom ... Lol I could only dream to be like this Angel. I love you my sweet mommie
