As I sit here watching 127 Hours, Ive come to realize how much I absolutely adore Danny Boyle as a director. Ive loved every single piece of cinema he has every made, but this film in particular, along with Sumshine, shows just how much of a genius he really is. I willing to say ( and for my friends they know this is a big deal ) that along with Stanley Kubrick , he is the best visual film artist of our generation or in the entire generation of film. The way he mixes visuals with music is nothing short of increable . And the way he never does the same film twice and also is an extreme risk taker, is unheard of in cinema today. Thats all just really had to say my two cents.
