As I sit here watching You Got Served, judging the poor acting and shitty writing...I have to stop being so catty about it, as it was the infancy of the Goliaths like Step Up 3 in 3D..You Got Served is to Step Up 3, in 3D...what Krush Groove was to Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo....True, it doesnt hold the rich Christ symbolism as Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo managed to weave together masterfully..nor does it have the emotional roller coaster of the Step Up franchise as a whole..But when Omarion goes to his best friends side in the hospital, right before the line, Lateesha! Go home and stop acting like a ho!, it is almost WORD FOR WORD the updated conversation leading up to the arrest of Jesus in the garden....but yeah the writing is a literary colonoscopy and offends me that someone made money off of that and I am still eligible for food stamps....
