As I sit here with my boys, Chase, playing his Nintendo DS and Christians on my lap watching Toy Story 2, I started to reflect on my life. Chase starts 1st grade tomorrow and it fast becoming an independent, intelligent and humorous gentlemen (Did I mention hes in High Ability classes now? Yeah... He was tested and is in the 99% for 1st graders and will be in advanced classes from here on out). Christian is DYING to go to school like his big brother and wants to grow up, so he can be big and strong. Hes so sweet, loving and kind... I cant wait to see what each new day brings for him. My beautiful wife is upstairs getting Chases outfit ready for school tomorrow... Typical Mary. Without her, our house wouldnt be able to function. Shes the epitome of a selfless, strong and loving wife and mother and my best friend on earth. Shes also carrying my unborn son, who we can hardly wait to meet. 3 boys. 3 SONS. Never in a million years would I have thought this is where Id be. We are living the American Dream as my wife is afforded the opportunity to raise our children as I am the sole breadwinner. I am a blessed man... Blessed beyond measure. Over the years, Ive lost touch with many of my friends and family due to a lack of free time. As much as it hurts to lose them in my life, I think Ive invested my time wisely.
