As I sit in this hospital room alternating between watching my best friend (Ralphie) FINALLY sleeping well and staring out the window watching people go about their way without ever knowing what others are dealing with....I realize that life is like a triathalon, there are many parts to it (life) and once we realize how to navigate through and make it through each challenge...it is THEN we find out JUST what were made of, how strong we really are and what kind support & love we get from those around us. These words will NEVER explain to each of you just how much your posts, texts, and calls have helped me through this nightmare. I realize today that had I not fought for someone to DO MORE for my man that he possibly couldve died from this bacteria which all others thought was muscle spasms. People....NEVER HESITATE TO PUT ON THE GLOVES for anything you feel strong about. Be it a person, place, or thing.
