As I spent another night of restlessness and non-sleep, I pondered my life and what I truly know about myself. This much I have learned in my years so far: I may not be the best mother ever, but I love my daughter and her family very much. I told her years ago that there is no love greater than that of a mother for her children and I hope she realizes that now that she has children of her own. I may not be the best daughter, sister, aunt, cousin or friend, but I love each and every one of my family and friends. I may not be the smartest person, but I love to read and learn something new everyday. I may not be the best chef, but I love to cook. I may not be the most talented singer, but I love to let my voice ring out. I may not be Ginger Rogers, but I love to dance. I may not be the greatest tennis player, but I love to play. I may not excel at games and puzzles, but I give it my best, win or lose. I may not be the best housekeeper, but no one has choked to death on dust bunnies, yet! I may not have been a great wife, but I loved being married and hope someday to meet someone to share all this love with. But most importantly - I may not be the best Christian, but I love God for without him, none of the above would be possible. Love to all! Merry Christmas!
