As I start my morning, I have been praying and reflecting back on my life. I have had many many many struggles, as we all do. Some (most) were self inflected but some (the most hurtful ones) were out of my control. IF ONLY I would have realized how turning it all over to God would bring me such peace and comfort, even in the worst of the worst days. It would have saved me from so much heartache and stupid life choices. Since the illness and death of my husband, my eyes have been opened and my spirit has been cleansed. Watching that man prepare to die was absolutely unbelievable. He was so sure of his eternal life and made peace with it. The day we found out he was terminal, July 9, 2012 would change my life drastically, but nothing in comparison to the day he died Sept 7, 2012. Through many many hours upon hours of praying and soul searching I found myself. I am very focused on this SEAMS SEW CRAZY business (you can probably guess how I came up with the name, right?) God has blessed not only me, but my son with a gift of creativity. We absolutely love what we do and strive to be better (we will be adding a few new processes of making shirts SOON!! SEW exciting). I give God all the glory. HE is the one that has graced is with this talent. The day my husband died, I started praying that God would use me to share mine and Gregs testimony. I have had many opportunities to do just that. God has me on a journey that is SEW exciting and I cant wait to see how the story all ends! I continue to have daily struggles just like the rest of the world. The difference in me is that I see through cleansed eyes. I handle it all differently and I LEARN from my mistakes. Im not perfect by any means. But with God leading me down this path, opening and closing the doors at his will, I really cant go wrong. I love my life and my new thinking. And I love God. Without him, I would be nothing. HE SAVED ME!! Have a great productive Saturday my friends.
