As I take a moment to rest at the Sarina Styles manor before the gig, I am reflecting on all of my abundant blessings for which I am truly thankful this year. I am truly blessed and still overwhelmed with emotion to have been selected for and served my city of New Orleans as Southern Decadence Grand Marshal 40 for which we were able to donate almost $19,000 to a charity very near and dear to me--PFLAG. Last weekend I won the title of Miss Louisiana Continental 2015, a dream come true. And, in January, I am so privileged and excited to be coronated another big dream of mine and huge honor, King Cake Queen XXII of Gay Mardi Gras for the Krewe of Queenateenas. Aside from all of that I am blessed to be in good health, have a good job, have so many opportunities to travel and entertain, have a roof over my head, and to be surrounded by a wonderful group of true friends and loving family. During this Holiday season, it is nice to take time to reflect and give thanks to Our Creator for all of the wonderful blessings for which I am ever so grateful.
