As I think about Dr King and people like him (Malcolm X, Mandela, Medger Evers, etc) it reminds me that we have come so far in my lifetime in ending racism. We still have a ways to go, but when I hear people say Racism in the US is no better than it was 50 years ago I cringe. There is still work to do, but our country is better. We are not as good as we should be and we are not as good as we are gonna be, but thankfully we are better than we were.
