As I wait in the hallway for my sister to have her little girl, Im flooded with emotion listening to babies in other rooms enter the world. Ive been blessed and been able to experience a lot of cool things in life. Ive visited cool places in the world that have brought me joy. Ive hit a homerun, knocked down a three pointer, and thrown a touchdown pass that all brought a great feeling. Ive been on first dates that brought nervousness and Im blessed to have had my final first date. The greatest thing I have ever done was get saved by Jesus and that was the most comforting feeling Ive ever had. With this said, the single most absolute powerful feeling Ive ever experienced was seeing my son enter this world. Its something I cant even really wrap my head around, but Ill never ever forget seeing him and the feeling I had. We all battle adversity from time to time and sometimes the little guy in our head tells us what we cant do. I knew the day my son was born that Id be kicking that little guy in my heads ass the rest of my life. The feeling I had the day he was born has never left me.
