As I was compiling eco-poems that I will be ecocritiquing anew for the manuscript, I realized the poems and books of poetry that I have amassed for the anthology barely measures up to what I need for the completion of this Introduction. I am now knocking on the sharp memories of my literary friends for local POETS who they believe write about nature, animals, ecology, environment and the like - those that they think I have never read before.
