As I was darkening in my ovals on the ballot, I was overwhelmed by what has been given, sacrificed for my right to have a voice. Maybe it really isnt heard. Maybe it is. All I really know is by voting, Im honoring those who have fought for that right to be given to me, those who have used their voice to make it a possibility, those who have given their service, their life so I can that I can live in a country where I have many freedoms afforded to me. One of them, the right to cast my vote to choose my countrys leaders. Maybe a small voice, but its still mine.
